Role: Marketing Design Intern
Goals: During my collaboration experience with the ambassador and marketing team, we created social media graphics to pass on educational resources and opportunities offered by Bay Area Medical Explorers.
The Mission and Values: It was to make sure incoming generations from worldwide find free resources to access for networking and career advise outside of school settings to prepare for professional leadership skills with their field specialty.
Iteration to Launching: Within exploration phase of Canva, I tested multiple color combinations, refined the information hierarchy, and optimized each layout for mobile viewing. Through several rounds of iteration, I condensed lengthy content into a clear, scannable bullet points and headlines while maintaining visual balance and readability.

STEM Without Barriers Design Community
Role: Graphic Design Volunteer
Goals: During my community experience with the volunteer team, I created a tri-fold brochure to represent Figma as a recognizable company and software for design, engineering, operations, and marketing. It was to help with the STEM without Barriers community to pass on a Figma educational brochure for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and early college students.
The Mission and Values: It was to inform the the transitioning young adults worldwide to stay up to date about adapting to the rapid changes coming from AI systems while integrating the traditional workflow from concept generating to launching the products.
Iteration to Launching: Within exploration phase of Canva, I tested multiple color combinations, refined the information hierarchy, and optimized each layout for an effective size to put on a mockup and physical copy to see how it looks displayed in real life. Through several rounds of iteration, I condensed lengthy content into a clear, scannable bullet points and headlines while maintaining visual balance and readability.

The Scrubs Society Design Community
Role: Design Director Volunteer
Goals: During my community experience with the Scrub Society volunteer team, I created an infographic to inform about a medical field, Occupational Therapy as being one the most needed team for patients needing special treatments and support for mental and physical health care to get through daily routines.
The Mission and Values: Giving resources for audiences worldwide to access for virtual speaker events included to stay informed about staying positive throughout the pressure of medical career pathways.
Iteration to Launching: I started jotting down notes physically on paper to pick the main points. After transferring the information to exploration phase of Canva as main platform , I tested multiple color combinations, refined the information hierarchy, and optimized each layout to leave room for supporting illustrations from Adobe Photoshop and icons. Through several rounds of iteration, I condensed lengthy content into a clear, scannable bullet points and headlines while maintaining visual balance and readability.
